Jessica and I got new birds today. They were born some time around July
2007, and they are a pair of parakeets (aka budgerigars aka parrots). The
blue or turquoise one is Jessica’s, named Belle, and mine is the green one
which I named Striker.

Striker (green) is bold and confident, but with a mild temperment that makes him very cool–I just saw him grooming Belle between nips at their cuttlebone.
